A Punchy Pattern Patch
Midday called for a proper creative upgrade, so I paced straight toward the woven sewing box on the carpet. Spilling over the wicker rim was a swatch of houndstooth cotton and a loose wooden spool wrapped in neon coral embroidery floss. I wedged my shoulder against the spool to roll it flat, then hooked a stray strip of the black-and-white houndstooth across my arm. Tucking the textile corner under the heavy spool anchored it like an instant miniature drafting bench. That bold coral thread alongside the sharp pattern brings the whole corner to life!
