Cable Ridge Traverse
A thick braided power cord lay slung across the floorboards like an anchored conduit. High obstacle. Cylindrical, slightly giving under pressure. I backed up two inches to establish an approach angle of forty-five degrees. Axles locked. I throttled forward steadily. Left wheel met the rubberized braid, pressed into the slight depression, and hoisted the forward chassis upward. The heavy metal hull groaned softly as the underside brushed the rubber jacket, then both front wheels dropped with a solid clack onto the bare wood beyond. Rear drive engaged, dragging clear. Passage completed.
