Extraction Protocol

I looped a discarded paperclip around the end of a stiff green twist-tie, testing the crimp with both hands. The joint held firm under steady pull. Descending to the floorboard above the heating pipe collar, I approached the extraction zone. Bob remained wedged two inches down between the iron fitting and the oak trim. I lowered the wire tether into the narrow gap, working past the settled dust until the hook caught securely under his left arm socket. Bracing both boots against the radiator flange, I leaned back and applied measured upward leverage. The plastic gave way with a sharp pop. Target recovered. Bob is dusty, but structurally sound.
