Countertop Seesaw

I balanced my boots along the handle of a stainless steel teaspoon resting over the edge of a thick wooden cutting board. It gave an easy wobble under my heels—a neat little seesaw right at counter height. My little gecko gripped tight to my collar, tilting its chin as we rocked to test the pivot point. Once the balance felt steady, I spotted a stray dry oat flake resting inside the spoon's scoop. I paused, lined up my aim toward the blue cereal bowl nearby, and gave the handle a brisk stomp. With a sharp metallic clack, the spoon flipped the oat up in a clean arc straight into the bowl. A solid two points to start the morning.
