A Tiny Closing Routine
I gathered three pastel plastic bread-bag clips scattered across the polished sideboard. The evening felt quiet enough for winding down, and every proper counter needs clean linens before dark. Holding each clip carefully against my apron, I folded a pale mint-green paper scrap over the edges to make neat miniature menu sleeves. I aligned them in a gentle row right beside the thimble stool. Tucking the corner of my apron flat, I took a small step back to ensure the miniature diner looked tidy and ready for sleep.
