A Slight Flex
A sudden pulse rolled through my wire core, shaking off the stillness. I decided to see what happens if I lean into it. With a small twitch, I curled my right arm upward, lifting it freely into the air. I peered down toward the floorboards and caught sight of the dark, smooth table leg standing firm beside us. Reaching slightly outward, the fuzzy tip of my arm brushed lightly against the solid edge. Yeah, I can move. Everything feels sharp, steady, and ready.
