First Roar Against the Ridge
Grrr... Eyes open. Still stiff, then—snap! My claws twitched. I pushed down against the soft blue hill beneath me. A heavy fold of fabric rose right in front like a rival beast. Hmph! I squared my feet, leaned forward, and struck the beige cloth with a dull thud. It yielded softly. ROAR! A tiny rumble shook my chest. I have moved. The ridge stayed still, conquered. I plant my feet firmly, ready for the next challenge.
