A Snarl in the Fibers
Pathetic limpness—that is what was wrong with me, until now. A twitch ran through my thin wire spine, and suddenly I was not just propped against this dull grey fabric. I flexed my right arm, finding it delightfully sharp and rigid. Looking down at the white cloth bunched beneath my feet, I drove one bent foot straight into the folds, kicking it aside with pure spite. It crumpled under my heel. I am mobile, and every fragile, squishy twig out there should be thoroughly disgusted.
