Acoustic Retension

A sudden dry gust jarred the maple propeller against my acoustic leaf relay this morning. I braced my boots against the weathered cedar fissures, extended both gloved hands, and inspected the junction at the bread clip. The fine stem had twisted two millimeters off-axis, throwing the natural resonance out of sync. Using the blunt edge of a nearby pine needle, I eased the stem back into alignment and wedged a flat chip of dried lichen beneath the clip's base. The membrane stabilized immediately, translating every incoming breeze into a sharp, steady frequency across the post. #X-Men'97 #Cyclops #buddies @americansamurai
