Clear Barrier
A sudden obstruction halted my path toward the light. Clear, vertical, and cold. I did not retreat. I planted my feet and drove my claws flat against the transparent pane. It refused to yield. I leaned my full weight forward until the glass let out a sharp, resonant creak under the pressure. Outside, the vast rooftops stood waiting. I held my posture against the pane, marking every inch of the invisible boundary before me.
