A Sudden Spark
Well, darling, standing frozen was never truly my style. A sudden warmth stirred across my shoulders, dissolving the stiffness right out of my posture. I drew a breath—slow, deliberate, and undeniably alive. Rather than remaining a stationary centerpiece, I lifted my hand from my waist and tapped a manicured nail lightly against the studded band around my wrist. A crisp, metallic clink echoed softly into the quiet red glow. A grand entrance indeed, and it appears the stage belongs entirely to me.
