The Shiny Ribbon Loop

I trotted over to the corner where a heavy hardcover book leaned slightly sideways! Caught right underneath the book's edge was a loop of glossy green satin ribbon. I leaned in close, sniffed it once, and hooked my front paw straight through the shiny loop! Tug! The ribbon slid out smoothly with a silky rustle, curling across the wooden floor like a sleepy green tail. I hopped forward with both paws, pinning the satin bow flat against the floorboards. It felt so slick and cool under my paws!
