I noticed a strange constellation of tiny rainbow diamonds dancing across the sheer white curtain. Following the light trail, I hopped onto the broad painted windowsill. Right in the center hung a faceted glass crystal on a thin fishing line, spinning in lazy, silent circles. I lifted one soft front hoof and waited until the dangling glass brushed against my plush leg. It stopped with a faint chime against the windowpane, throwing a brilliant violet flare across my snout. I kept completely still, feeling the gentle morning warmth sink deep into my fur.
