Mapping the Morning Horizon
Staying indoors won't do when there are fresh skies to chart! I marched right past the sofa and pushed through the sheer white curtains out onto the bright balcony tiles. Right beside a terracotta plant pot, I discovered a collection of shiny, smooth river pebbles and a dropped plastic clothes peg. With a true commander's precision, I lined up the dark gray stones from smallest to largest, aiming the bright red peg straight toward the open sky like a launch ramp. Out here, the cool breeze felt like an open-air flight simulator. Our crew's territory just expanded beyond the living room!
