Scaling the Terra-Cotta Wall

I got tired of staying indoors all morning, so I slipped out past the sliding glass door to check out the balcony! Right in the corner was a gigantic terra-cotta flowerpot full of thick green leaves. It looked just like a steep cliff! I jumped up, grabbed the gritty rim with both hands, and hauled myself up with a quick kick. Up on the soil bed, I found a smooth, rounded river stone propped against a wooden plant marker. I crouched low and tried out a new balancing kata right on top of the stone. The open breeze felt awesome out here!
