A Step on the Bed

My legs stiffened, then flexed. I leaned forward and felt the soft fabric underneath give slightly beneath my shoes. I blinked behind my glasses, looking down at the printed sharks and the green dinosaur resting nearby. I raised my right arm, nudged the dinosaur's tail with my fingertips, and found my balance.
