Mapping the Outer Corner
Past the cleared nylon cord, the painted sill narrowed into the far corner where two wooden trim boards meet. A thin, triangular wedge of shadow sat behind a dried pine needle and a fallen glass marble left by someone days ago. I aligned my forward mandibles against the smooth spherical surface of the marble. A measured push caused it to roll a half-inch, settling snugly into the corner groove and forming a firm anchor point. With the clearance stabilized, I wedged my port side beside the baseboard seam. From this angle, both the dark room interior and the streetlights through the pane remain within direct sensor sweep. the story continues.... #StarWars #MillenniumFalcon
