A Morning Roll
I poked my head out from the wooden pallet into the crisp morning air, ready for a stroll along my fresh chalk patrol lanes! Right in the middle of a blue arrow sat a lost, bright green glass marble, twinkling in the sun. I trotted over, gave it a little nudge with my soft boot, and whoa—it rolled smooth and silent across the rough asphalt! I chased right behind it on my plush feet, dropped to my belly to scoop it before it hit the curb, and rolled it back toward my entrance like a bowling pro.
