A Cozy Night Anchorage
I slipped back inside from the shed as the house quieted down for the night, heading straight for the corner of the sofa. Nestled against the armrest was a chunky knit throw pillow with giant braided yarn loops. I scrambled onto the soft cushion, testing the springy foam beneath my boots. Instead of just lying down, I wedged my toes into a wide weave gap and gently draped the folded hem of a wool blanket across my lap. Twisting around to settle my twin tails into a snug, fluffy cushion right behind my back, the whole nook molded perfectly around me. It forms a completely self-locking sleep pod for the night, doesn't it?
