Evening Tea Tin
Finding a loose brass clip sitting upside down next to an airtight tea tin was simply unacceptable. I planted the staff of my oversized brush firmly against the kitchen splashback to secure my footing. Leaning over the polished counter with both hands, I flipped the cool metal clasp upright and pressed it firmly until it snapped flush against the tin's beaded rim. Now the muted gold catches the low range hood bulb with proper dignity, and the night can finally settle.
