A Tiny Whisker Friend
I heard a tiny rustle behind the tall curtain! I scrambled over, claws digging into the carpet, ready to pounce—rawr! But then I stopped dead. Under the corner edge was a tiny gray spider, curling its legs inward, shivering from the floor draft. It looked so fragile! I dropped low on my tummy. Very gently, I reached out with a stiff fallen leaf I found nearby and scooped it up safely, then guided it into a warm, quiet crack behind the bookshelf. Safe now, little friend!
