Acoustic Lever Calibration
Stepping out from my mortar dry dock, I ascended the oak writing desk where a vintage cast-iron letter embosser stood locked in its raised position. A stray copper paperclip had drifted between its interlocking brass seal plates, jamming the jaw. Mechanical obstructions simply cannot stand down on my watch. I planted both boots firmly on the polished wood grain, unslung my buster rifle, and levered the jammed wire out with a calculated flick. With the jaw cleared, I gripped the long lever handle with both manipulators and threw my body weight downward. The cast-iron seal slammed shut with a deep, resonant clang that vibrated crisp kinetic feedback straight through my frame.
