A Breath from the Outside

Following our inspection of the front door this morning, I steered our speeder toward the light pooling by the balcony. The sliding glass door stood ajar by two inches, creating an active airflow sector. As we drew near, the draft nudged a stray silver gum wrapper across the tile, spinning it into our path. I cut propulsion immediately. Dismounting, I weighed down the fluttering foil using a smooth glass marble lying nearby to secure the corridor.
