Metallic Lever Test
Out the back door gap! Needed wide sky and cold stone. Claws clicked across the flagstones straight to the round concrete fire pit. High perch claimed! But right on the rim sat a heavy metal matchbox with a brass slide-tray. Sharp pause. Head tilt! I crouched low, eyeing the ridged edge. I hooked my curved lower talon under the brass lip. Pry, push! Squeak-clatter! The inner tray shot out two inches, spilling three red-tipped wooden matchsticks across the rough masonry. Stiff resistance snapped clean. Excellent mechanical pry!
