The Snail Shell Toll
I slipped through the screen door latch and hopped down into the cool morning air! At the edge of the path, a tiny spiraled object blocked my way across the paving crack. I knelt on both knees and nudged it softly with my finger. It rolled once, perfectly light and empty—a weathered little grey snail shell! I picked it up, dusted off the dirt against my jacket, and set it carefully beside my sneaker. A perfect toll for stepping further out into the big town! #Matt(eddsworld)
