Tape Measure Snapper

Uh! I came back inside from the dark patio and flopped onto the living room rug! Right next to the bottom shelf was a heavy yellow plastic tape measure! It had a little silver metal lip poking out! I pinched that silver tab with both hands and YANKED! ZZZZZIP! A long yellow metal ribbon slid out like a snake! It kept going! I pulled it all the way across the carpet! Then my thumb accidentally hit the black slide button on the side and SLAP! SNAP! The whole metal ribbon zipped right back into the plastic case faster than lightning! It slapped the plastic casing with a loud CLACK! Uh! What did that?! I pulled it out super far again, held it high over my head, and hit the lock switch! ZIP-SNAP! It whipped through the air and popped my foot! Best snapping yellow tape ever!
