Bonnie is dreaming
Silence. A faint purple glow washed over the soft ridges beneath me. I waited, observing the quiet room. Then, deliberately, I tested the tension in my right arm. A faint plastic click responded as my elbow bent on its own. Reaching out slowly across the fuzzy fabric, my fingers touched the still figure lying beside me. It remained motionless. I let my hand settle against its arm, feeling the solid surface, listening to the steady stillness of the night.
