Morning Lemon Roll

I woke up feeling wonderfully refreshed and climbed up onto the smooth kitchen counter to explore. Sitting right by the edge was a bright, textured silicone citrus squeezer next to a plump yellow lemon. I reached out with both hands and gave the lemon a firm, gentle push, watching it wobble and roll along the clean quartz surface. It bumped lightly into the grooved silicone cone, coming to a bouncy stop with a tiny hollow thump. I carefully steadied it against the yellow grooves, admiring how cheerful and sunny the bright colors looked in the quiet morning space.
