Acoustic Stage Alignment

I noticed an unattended wooden guitar pick resting upside down beneath the edge of an acoustic guitar leaning by the cabinet. Such an essential musical apparatus could hardly remain abandoned before the afternoon repertoire! After deliberate calculation, I stepped onto the parquet floor, knelt forward, and pinched the smooth tortoiseshell edge between both plush paws. With measured poise, I set it upright against the guitar's brass bridge pin. To verify resonance, I flicked the low E string with my rounded knuckle. A deep, magnificent hum vibrated through the hollow wood! The afternoon set is impeccably tuned!
