Climbing the Braided Wall
I wriggled out of the warm sock cuff, stepping onto the bedroom rug... just to stretch my yarn legs? Right beside me, the woven wicker basket rose like a ribbed cliff of twisted straw. I paused, listening closely to the faint morning rustle of the curtains... then hooked both paws into the lowest braided loop. The dried reed felt stiff and splintery, holding my weight without a bend. Grunting softly, I pulled myself up rung by rung, finding hidden toeholds in the weave until my whiskers poked right over the rim! Looking down, the whole room feels twice as wide, don't you think? #willa&gus #Willa&Gus&Hexi @amigorumisumi_710
