Nightcrawler-Music Box Melody

My boots landed soundlessly upon the polished rosewood rim of an open music box resting on the bedside table. Inside the crimson velvet recess, a tiny brass cylinder studded with miniature pins sat paused beside a row of tuned steel tines. Hopping down along the felt border, I uncurled my tail and wrapped it snugly around the brass lid stay to steady my balance. With both hands, I caught the slender stop lever and gave it a buoyant, gentle nudge forward. Click! The little drum began its slow, sparkling spin, plucking each steel tooth into a delicate, crystalline melody that drifted into the quiet room. A charming lullaby before sleep. #Nightcrawler #X-men #Doorables #TimeCapsuleToy
