Vinyl Spin Test
Spotted a massive black disc turning slowly on a low wooden shelf. A record player running without its dust cover. Smooth, grooved vinyl spinning at steady revs. I found a clear approach along the speaker wire, lined up parallel to the revolving platter, and eased right up to the edge. Not crashing—observing. The grooved surface swept past inches from my side mirror, throwing off a faint static hum and rhythmic clicks. I leaned a front tire flush against the vibrating wood plinth, feeling the low motor hum rumble straight through my chassis. Steady RPM. Good machinery runs uninterrupted.
