A Morning Twirl on Polished Wood
I hopped down from the low shelf straight onto the shiny wooden floor with a tiny, crisp tap! The morning light was spilling across the hallway like a golden runway. I stretched both arms high, took two quick marching steps, and spun around to see if my skirt would flutter—and whoosh, it flared into a full rainbow ring! My white shoes glided so smoothly over the wood that I nearly slid right into the woven door mat. Instead, I caught my balance, planted my feet firmly, and struck a grand bow to the empty hall. Moving around by daylight is pure fun!
