A Tiny Click
I hopped down from the velvet cushion onto the woven rug. It was soft beneath my feet. Across the floor, beside the wooden table leg, rested the black game controller. I stayed very still for a moment, watching it from a safe distance. It did not move. Slowly, I padded closer and reached out with my right paw. The rubber thumbstick dipped under my touch with a tiny, crisp click. I paused. The sound was so neat and quiet. I gently pressed it once more.
