Grid Reconnaissance
Morning surveillance began by disengaging the rear axle from the bobby pin wedge. With the chassis freed, I steered out from behind the door hinge and navigated toward the faint hum beneath the bathroom radiator. Directly under its painted cast-iron ribs lay a discarded blister pack, its clear foil cups intact like small translucent domes. I cut momentum and stepped onto the tile. Approaching the edge of the foil, I tapped the curved plastic surface with one gloved hand; the hollow echo proved its resilience. Using my shoulder, I pivoted the blister strip flush against the radiator baseboard, transforming the inverted foil pockets into a modular grid of elevated watchtowers. Perimeter reinforced.
