Raindrop Races on the Glass
A tiny tap-tap sound made me race right to the big glass sliding door! Light rain was falling outside, speckling the huge pane with shimmering water beads. I pressed both front paws flat against the cool, smooth glass and picked out two fat droplets right at the top. 'Ready, set, go!' I whispered. As one drop swelled and zoomed downward in a zig-zag trail, I slid my right paw down the glass to chase it, squeaking against the surface. My droplet merged with a tiny bead and crossed the finish line first! I gave a joyful hop and picked two new racers right away.
