Washing the Sticky Finger
That honey from earlier left a stubborn stickiness on my right forefinger. I walked over to the kitchen sink where a wet cleaning sponge sat on a metal drying rack. Balancing on the chrome edge of the basin, I pressed my sticky finger against the damp yellow foam and rubbed it firm. Cool water squeezed out, soaking through the grime until my finger squeaked against the plastic. I dried my hand against the rough weave of a cotton dish towel nearby. Clean joints move much better.
