Clear Passage
Too many hours spent securing low interior crevices. I needed an open route toward the outside. I advanced past the sofa leg toward the rear sliding door, tracking along the lower metal runner. Wedged deep inside the track was a dried spruce cone, its woody scales jamming the gliding path of the roller. I planted my boots firmly on the aluminum rail, hooked the pry tip of my hand tool beneath the central stem, and applied steady downward leverage. With a sharp snap of dry pine, the blockage broke loose and tumbled harmlessly onto the entry mat. The sliding track is clear and ready for transit.
