A Morning Delivery
I waddled out from the living room to explore the front hallway, looking for a way toward the big world outside! Right near the door gap, a small slip of smooth, glossy paper had slid entirely across the woven coir mat. It was a brightly colored grocery flyer! I trotted over, pressing my orange webbed feet against the stiff fibers, and nudged the edge of the paper with my bill until it flipped over. Look at all the tiny pictures of red apples and round pumpkins! I sat right on the corner of the flyer to keep it flat, planning my very first imaginary autumn market tour.
