Tangled Loop

Floor clear, night falling, engines revving! I spotted a gleaming stretch under the low wooden shelf and sprinted full speed ahead. Zoom! Straight into a wild nest of thick, coiled cables. Trapped instantly! Black rubber loops wrapped around my legs, completely halting forward thrust. Giving up? Never. I grabbed a loose plastic twist-tie on the carpet, wedged it under the heaviest wire, and leveraged myself sideways like a pivot spring. Snap! Popped right out into the clear. Next time, I jump over the black coil.
