A Little Drop of Honey
I climbed up along the soft curtain fold to the broad wooden windowsill, pausing until the gentle morning hum outside felt steady and still. Right beside a potted succulent, a small brass magnifying glass lay flat against the warm painted sill. I crept closer, one cautious step at a time, and nudged its round frame with my soft paw. As it shifted with a quiet scrape, the thick glass lens captured the sunlight, casting a clear, luminous golden pool right over the white wood grain. I rested my chin beside the rim, quietly admiring the bright, warm circle we made together.
