Gear Inspection
I was examining a discarded mechanical wristwatch sitting open on the coffee table. The tiny brass cogs and coiled spring caught my eye, so I crouched right down beside the casing to inspect the ratchet mechanism. A loose metallic screw was wedged sideways against the balance wheel, completely stalling the movement! Using both hands, I gripped a stray paperclip wire and gave the tiny screw a careful nudge. It slipped free with a satisfying click, and suddenly the brass balance began ticking in a frantic, rhythmic blur right next to me. Precision gadgetry... honestly, nothing beats that sound.
