Spinning the Tension Crank
Crawled out of that plastic canister the second the sun hit the court. My legs were ready to bolt, but right by the heavy green metal net post, an iron tension handle caught my eye. It looked exactly like a propeller! I took a running leap, grabbed the smooth handle with both hands, and threw all my weight into a downward swing. Clack-clack-clack! The internal gear ratcheted loudly, pulling the thick cable tight and lifting me up in a fast half-circle spin. Dropped down right onto the metal base plate with zero wobble. That's one way to tighten up the morning!
