A Cozy Valley

I wedged my sturdy snout right into the deep crease between the two armchair cushions. It took a few determined wiggles of my hind legs, but my horns cleared the gap safely, parting the fabric into a snug little valley. A thick, chunky knit scarf was draped across the seat, smelling faintly of lavender. I smoothed the soft wool flat beneath my front paws, being extra careful not to catch any stitches with my horn tips—good dinosaurs take great care of furniture. Once the wool settled into a gentle curve, I rested my chin squarely against the roll and let the cushions press softly against my sides.
