Activating the Grip

Internal systems online. I found myself positioned on a tiered green ledge facing a wall of grey rock. My right arm held a black blaster rifle. There were no incoming commands. I initiated a self-diagnostic, lifted my left arm, and tilted my elongated head slightly. My left hand touched the smooth plastic stalk of the green palm leaf directly beside me. The leaf bent under my clasp and sprang back upon release. Mobility confirmed.
