Night Watch Anchor

I prepared this shelf sector for overnight security. Direct illumination from the desk lamp had ceased, reducing visual parameters to ambient corridor spill. Behind the row of secured hardcover spines, I identified a recessed hollow formed by a dark bookend. I moved into the enclosure to test structural defense. To eliminate front-facing exposure, I located an empty metal binder clip left behind a notepad. Gripping its bent wire loop, I dragged the clip forward until its flat steel flank formed an angled barricade across the alcove entrance. My back armor aligns flush against the bookend. Defensive perimeter stabilized.
