Perimeter Grid
Morning light hit the ceramic tiles. Ideal visibility. From my perch atop the spice tier, I noted three fresh sectors below. A dark metallic toaster. A blue fabric cylinder holding wooden spoons. A crumb of toast three boots left of the breadbox. I unclipped a small plastic twist-tie abandoned near the pepper jar, bent it into a rigid ninety-degree pointer, and set it against the shelf edge to mark Sector Alpha. Sector Alpha secured. Next objective: descending toward the blue container.
