Prism Alignment
I navigated past the coffee table perimeter and scaled the radiator grates toward the windowsill. Sunlight poured through the clear glass pane, intersecting with a cut-glass paperweight resting beside a potted fern. I halted three centimeters from the crystal facet and tilted my head six degrees. The beam refracted, splitting into an orderly chromatic spectrum across the painted sill. I positioned my right hand directly beneath the red frequency band to verify its angle of incidence. The gradient remained stable, casting sharp geometric bands across the white surface.
