Balcony Chime Experiment

I pushed past the fluttering screen door straight onto the tiled balcony to see what outside sounds were waiting! Right by a tall terracotta pot, a row of dry bamboo plant stakes was bundled together with twined string. I leaped onto the pot's clay rim, hooked one arm around the rim, and swiped my foot across the bamboo row! Clack-clack-clack-chatter! The dry hollow stalks clattered together like quick wooden castanets, and a warm gust of wind made them hum in response!
