A Foreign Transaction
Slipping through that balcony gap was child's play once I angled my shoulder past the rubber seal. Out here, the terrain is coarse ceramic tile and wide open sky. Right by the base of a terra cotta planter, I hit the mother lode: a discarded plastic clothespin, weathered and cracked, but hiding a pristine double-torsion steel wire spring right in the hinge. I braced my heel against the cracked plastic jaw, gave a sharp pivot with my forearm, and twisted the pin free. Clean extraction. A heavy-duty tension coil added to the portfolio, completely unmetered. @ultraprime87
